Inspire US 2016

The Social Subjects faculty are looking for pupils in S5 interested in taking Modern Studies Higher next year or are interested in studying politics at University, and are interested in a once-in-a-lifetime work experience opportunity come along to F45 on Thursday 25 February at morning break.

Inspire US 2016 will see 20 pupils  from five different schools travel to the US to be campaign interns for the final two weeks of the US elections. Working in the swing state of Florida, the students will work alongside seasoned political campaigners from both national parties. Day to day, students will get involved in canvassing voters, attending rallies, and getting the vote out on the all-important election day on Tuesday 8 November, 2016. Before travelling home, the students will stop off at Washington DC, to take in some of the main political landmarks, including the White House and Capitol Hill.

The trip is fully funded, with all travel and accommodation covered. There is an application process to complete but hopefully we can be selected for this amazing opportunity
