School Charity: The senior pupil team counted up all of our votes this morning and we are delighted to announce that our School Charity this year is Team Jak, Jak’s Den. This is a fantastic example of a local, grass roots charity and one which many people within the school feel very strongly about. The house teams will now lead fundraising events for the whole school. Some groups of pupils will run their own events as part of course work to raise money for this very good cause. As this is such a small charity the money we raise will have a great impact. A representative from Team Jak will hopefully be able to attend our house assemblies in Oct to explore this further. Let’s get raising money! The Pupil Support Group and the Senior Pupil Team.
Debating: An exciting opportunity has arisen for pupils aged 14-18 to receive some debating coaching from experienced debaters from Oxford University. The workshop ends with an Oxford Admissions talk which may also be of interest to some of our pupils. If you would like to attend, please let Mrs May (F32) know asap. Mrs May
