Candy Canes: It is that time of year again! Cockburn Candy Canes are back! We will be selling them every break at the team Jak fundraising reception until the Christmas holiday. The candy canes will cost 50p or 3 for £1 and will be delivered every PSP lesson. All proceeds made will be donated to Jaks Den. Merry Christmas.

Hockey Club: All players must attend the meeting at break today in the drama studio. New members are very welcome.

S2 Football: Could all S2 footballers please meet at break time today in the Sports hall to discuss a possible change of day in training.

S3 London Trip:   Please attend a short meeting in Mrs Tosh’s room (F33) at 1:20 pm to discuss meal options and other important details.  Attendance is mandatory.  Please speak to Ms Caddow or Mrs Tosh if you cannot make it.

The Balerno Fairtrade Village Group: They are appealing for any old spectacles you have lying around to decorate their Christmas Tree as part of the Christmas Tree Festival.  After the festival is over they will be donating the spectacles to Specsavers Vision Aid Overseas where they are recycled to raise money to help people in developing countries have access to eye care.

This is a great cause and a fantastic reason to rake through your old cupboards and drawers to look for glasses you have kept for years “just in case”.

All donations should be handed in to the reception desk at the main school entrance by Friday 2nd December.

Jak’s Den Christmas Advent: Hi all, hope you’re all excited for Christmas and are looking forward to a well deserved break. This year we are looking to support Jack’s Den by giving back any spare change every day for the month of December. S6 Pupils will be standing at every entrance to the school from 8:15 am till first period and at lunch times with buckets for your money. Every day we will put the daily total of what we have raised on the Christmas Advent Tree down in the reception area. We hope you all give a small donation each day for the entire month to support Jak’s Den- a little means a lot! Many Thanks.
