Netball Training: There is no netball training on Tuesday 17th January but there is a game which players are welcome to watch and support our team if they aren’t involved?
College Applications: All pupils in S4-6 who are applying for college this year (including as a back up to university) should attend a brief meeting in G6 Monday P3. Attendance is essential. If you can’t make it, please see Mr Ferguson in the Guidance Base ASAP.
Hockey Players: All players must attend the meeting at break today in the drama studio. New members are very welcome.
Brexit Debate: Students interested in joining in a debate about BREXIT please see information and come and see Mr Jack if you are interested in joining: ‘People Know How’ are running an event with Edinburgh University from 1pm to 3pm on Friday 27th January that may interest you and your pupils of all ages. This could be of particular interest to your Debating Society, and of course, History, Modern Studies and Business Studies students.
We are pleased to open up the debate / discussion to Edinburgh secondary schools and I would like to invite you and your pupils. There will be speakers from Edinburgh University who will give their thoughts on all things BREXIT and they will encourage and welcome dialogue with the audience.
Football trip to Manchester. If you would like to go to the Manchester City v Stoke City game on the 11th March then please come and see Mr Jack ASAP as space is filling up fast. The trip also includes a tour of Old Trafford in the morning before the game.
Scottish Youth Parliament: Pupils who want to stand as candidates for the Scottish Youth Parliament please come and see Mr Jack
Bake Club: Can all pupils interested in joining a Bake Club after school come along to G35 today at lunchtime at 1:15 for a short meeting. The club will run after school for 90 minutes once a week, day to be decided.
