My World of Work Ambassadors – The My WoW Ambassadors should meet Mr Ferguson in Meeting Room 3 for a very brief meeting at break time today.

Trick or Treat with Malleny – To help celebrate Halloween, Malleny house team will be selling 50p and £1 sweetie bags in the concourse during break and lunch today! All proceeds go to Teenage Cancer Trust so please bring along your money.

NHS Career Insight programme Day – NHS Lothian Career Insight day aimed at S3 and S4 students.
The event will be held at the Western General Hospital on Saturday 4th November 2017. If you would like to attend please speak to you guidance teacher today.

S6 Personal Statements (Bavelaw) – All Bavelaw UCAS personal statements are available for collection in the wallet on the door of the Guidance Base.

Music Notices
Wind Band – Wind Band rehearsals will resume on Tuesday 31st October at lunchtime in F10. Full attendance required.
Guitar Group – Rehearsals for the Christmas concert will begin on Tuesday 31st October at 1.15pm in F09. Full attendance is required.
String Group – String group rehearsals will resume on Wednesday 1 November at lunchtime on F10. All string players must attend.
S1-S6 Choir – Rehearsals for the Christmas Concert will begin on Thursday 2 November at 1.15pm in F09. New members welcome. Any questions about music rehearsals please speak to Mrs Anderson.

City of Edinburgh Central Choir – The Central Choir will run for 6 weeks beginning on Thursday 26th October at St Thomas of Aquins High School, 4.30-6.30pm. No audition required. Open to All S4, 5 and 6 year pupils across Edinburgh.

Hearts Football Employment Opportunities – The club will be holding a recruitment evening on Wednesday 1st November 2017. A variety of part-time matchday roles are available, so feel free to pass this link on to anyone you think might be interested:

Netball Club – Netball club runs every Tuesday from 4 – 5pm for S1 – S3 and from 5 – 6pm for S4 – S6. All players new and old are welcome!

Pathway to Mixed Martial Arts – Held at Currie High School from 4 until 5pm on Thursdays in the sports hall. This is for S1 to S6, male or female, new or experienced. You are welcome whether you are interested in supplementing an existing martial training from elsewhere, wish to learn something more diverse or are interested in having fun exercising with friends old and new.

The ‘Phoenix’ Table Tennis Club (S1 – 6 Monday Lunch)
If you pong when you should ping.
The table tennis club might be your thing.
Every Monday in the games hall, during lunch.
Make sure before this you have munched.
Bring indoor trainers so you can play.
Because without them you’ll be sent away.
