The ‘Phoenix’ Table Tennis Club (S1 – 6 Monday Lunch) – Just to reiterate that this is a table tennis club so no other games / sports should be happening in the games hall when the club is on: Balls and bats are being broken when playing ‘squash’ against walls.
Also, pupils are continuing to wear outdoor shoes in the hall (honest guv, they’re my indoor ones!). This will not be allowed going forward!
I will check that you have TWO PAIRS of shoes when you come along (one outdoor pair and one indoor pair to change into). I will ask to see BOTH before you can play.
Any seniors willing to help run this revived club please come and see Mr Hamilton in F47. It could add to your CV.
Girls in Engineering – Calling all S3 girls! You could be the engineers of the future. Strathclyde University is offering a week’s programme in June all about engineering. If you are interested, please see Mr Ferguson in the Guidance Base.
