Well done to everyone who participated in the Classroom Door Challenge. All of the designs are amazing – and they have generated some great chat about the featured books!
This week you are invited to participate in a quiz with great prizes. Collect a quiz sheet from your English teacher which contains a question about each of the books appearing on the doors. Submit your completed answers to the box in F32 by the end of the day on Thursday 7th December. Winners will be drawn at random from all correct entries. One entry per pupil.

S1 pupils at lunchtime

PE – This is a quick reminder that pupils must bring a change of kit for PE which includes a change of shoes. Scottish Social Dance – As all Core PE classes are now taking part in Scottish Social Dance all pupils should be bringing a full PE kit which must include a change of shoes. Pupils should already be doing this for indoor lessons but many pupils seem to be wearing the same shoes to school and to take part in PE. This is a real worry at this time of year with cold and wet weather. Dirty shoes worn outside then indoors bring in mud and grit which is very unpleasant when classes sit on the floor and can cause damage to flooring. Pupils without a change of shoes will need to dance in bare feet if they forget to bring a change.
Thank you for your co-operation.

Lost Property – There are blazers, PE kits, jackets, headphones and many other items in lost property in the Print Room. Please come along before the Christmas holiday to check if you think anything may be yours. Any items left after this date will be recycled!

Bring a Coin Advent Challenge- As part of our fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust we are asking all pupils, where possible, to bring in a coin a day for Advent- a reverse advent calendar! Any coin from 1p will be gratefully received and contribute to the work of this excellent charity. Malleny House Team & some helpers will be on each of the doors from 8.15 as you enter the school. Thank you.
