Message From the Skies – A huge congratulations to Maisie Dalton 1C2 and Jemma Glover 5B1 who have won a competition to have their writing projected in lights onto buildings in Edinburgh city centre over Hogmanay and New Year. This is a fantastic achievement for the girls – very well done!

S6 Pupils and S6 Personal Support Teachers – All S6 pupils should report to the drama hall at the start of period 3 on a Monday, for our YPI final. If you are involved in music rehearsals you will present first and then go back to rehearsals. Thanks and looking forward to seeing some fantastic presentations.

All Pupils and Staff. Cash for Kids Appeal – Thanks to the generosity of pupils, guardians and staff we were able to donate 3 massive boxes of gifts to this Appeal. Thanks so much to everyone involved In making a difference to local children living in poverty. We are touched by your kindness.

Sleep in the Park – A huge well done from all of the school community to Jordan Mitchell, Esther Molleson, Thomas Lawson, Jack Lamb and Ciara McCulloch who raised £2 235 for Social Bite through their participation in this event. Temperatures dropped to -7 that night so it was definitely a challenge for them! Teachers across the school have pictures of the night if you wish to see some. Please do congratulate the group.

2M2 Teenage Cancer Trust Fundraising Event – All money raised will go straight to support the work of Teenage Cancer Trust. 2M2 have worked really hard to prepare for this event so please support them!
Tuesday 19th December- beat the goalie, basketball and hockey shoot outs in the PE department. 50p a turn or £1 for up to 7 shots. Starting at 1.10pm in the PE department.

Folio Returns – Could all pupils hoping to receive back their Nat5/Higher Art & Design folios from last session please ensure that they have paid their £10 per folio and picked up their work from the Art Department by Friday 22nd December.

Cockburn Candy Canes – are now up running! Come and buy a candy cane from reception to send to your friends (with a message) and the Cockburn house team will deliver them. 50p for 1 or 3 for £1. All money made goes towards Teenage Cancer Trust!

S5/6 Ceilidh – The S6’s are organizing a Ceilidh for all S5/6 pupils on Wednesday 20th December periods 6 and 7. The Ceilidh is free but if you wish to dress down for the afternoon, we would like you to donate £1 to Teenage Cancer Trust.

The ‘Phoenix’ Table Tennis Club (S1 – 6 Monday Lunch)
This is a table tennis club so no other games should be happening in the games hall when the club is on: Equipment is getting damaged.
Also, pupils are continuing to wear outdoor shoes in the hall. Please ensure that you bring an indoor pair to change into.
Any seniors willing to help run this revived club please come and see Mr Hamilton in F47. It could add to your CV.
