Mini-trials for S4-6 pupils – Any pupils taking part in mini-trials this term, please come to a meeting at lunch time on Thursday in F45.
School Photographs – S1, S3 & S5 – The school photographer will be in school on Tuesday 20st November. He will be taking individual photographs of all S1, S3 & S5 pupils, please ensure that you are in full school uniform wearing a white shirt, school tie and blazer.
Therapets – You may notice on occasion we have had a lovely golden retriever dog called Isla visiting school from Therapets. There are a few rules that Isla’s owner would like everyone to observe to help her stay calm and relaxed if you meet her in the corridors.
- Please remain calm and quiet around her.
- You must ask permission from Isla’s owner if you wish to stroke her.
- If Isla is passing in the corridor and any individual does not like dogs, please stand still and advise the owner “I do not like dogs”
- Please do not feed her any food other than treats given by her owner.

Trainee Quantity Surveyor Programme – opportunities in Edinburgh & Glasgow
Thomson Bethune a leading Property & Construction Consultancy has been running a Trainee Quantity Surveyor Recruitment Programme for over 30 years. We have assisted many individuals achieve their BSc(Hons) in Quantity Surveying with on the job training and support during their time at University.
Due to the ongoing success of the programme, we once again have pleasure in offering school leavers permanent employment whilst they obtain their Quantity Surveying qualifications at either Edinburgh Napier University or Glasgow Caledonian University, our Higher Education partners. Calling all Art & Design Students! – Working on a portfolio but not sure what to include? Edinburgh College Art & Design Team are offering all S5 and S6 pupils a unique portfolio session that will provide all attending with hints and tips in how to put together a successful portfolio.
