S6 Numeracy Ambassadors – Please attend a short meeting at break time on Thursday 15th November.
S4 Assembly – There is a S4 Assembly on Friday in the Drama Studio at tutor time, 11.20am.
The topic is S4 Assessments.
All Pupils – Due to a funeral at Currie Rugby club today, pupils should use the front access to go to the village. Pupils should not be near the rugby club or in the car park at either break or lunchtime for safety reasons.
Boys Rugby – There will be no rugby after school on Thursday 15th November. Back on as usual next week!
Next Edinburgh Schools Under 14 Festival is on Friday 23rd November at Currie RFC! Please speak to Mr May if you would like to play.
S1 Netball – Please come to a meeting today at break time in the PE department.
Mini-trials for S4-6 pupils – Any pupils taking part in mini-trials this term, please come to a meeting at lunch time on Thursday in F45.
School Photographs – S1, S3 & S5 – The school photographer will be in school on Tuesday 20st November. He will be taking individual photographs of all S1, S3 & S5 pupils, please ensure that you are in full school uniform wearing a white shirt, school tie and blazer.
Therapets – You may notice on occasion we have had a lovely golden retriever dog called Isla visiting school from Therapets. There are a few rules that Isla’s owner would like everyone to observe to help her stay calm and relaxed if you meet her in the corridors.
- Please remain calm and quiet around her.
- You must ask permission from Isla’s owner if you wish to stroke her.
- If Isla is passing in the corridor and any individual does not like dogs, please stand still and advise the owner “I do not like dogs”
- Please do not feed her any food other than treats given by her owner.
Chemistry N5 Prelim Homework Help – Drop in session in G44 – Monday- Wednesday lunchtimes (last 30 mins of lunch) from now until prelim.

S4-6 Royal College of Surgeons Christmas Lecture – Any pupil interested in attending this lecture on Tuesday 4th December at 2pm please come to Guidance. It focuses this year on being a Surgeon and would be relevant to anyone planning in working in Medicine.
Trainee Quantity Surveyor Programme – opportunities in Edinburgh & Glasgow
Thomson Bethune a leading Property & Construction Consultancy has been running a Trainee Quantity Surveyor Recruitment Programme for over 30 years. We have assisted many individuals achieve their BSc(Hons) in Quantity Surveying with on the job training and support during their time at University.
