S4 Opportunity – My World of Work School Ambassadors: An exciting opportunity is available for any S4 pupil who would like to become a My World of Work School Ambassador. This is an excellent role which involves the following:

 

  • Attending a full-day training course in September,
  • Promoting My World of Work to S1-3 pupils,
  • Telling parents and carers about My World of Work at parents’ evenings,
  • Visiting the primary schools to help P7s register for My World of Work.

 

This role will allow you to build your CV as well as build your confidence and other important skills. If you are interested, please see Mr Ferguson in the Guidance Base by Monday 26th August. S Ferguson

Lessons from Auschwitz – Holocaust Educational Trust – An opportunity for two senior students to take part in the above project, which includes hearing a talk from a Holocaust Survivor and a day visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, Poland. This is a fully funded opportunity to take part in an excellent project. You must be in S5-S6, over 16 and have a current valid passport. For more details and an application form please see Mrs Loy in F43, if she is not there take an application form and information sheet from the door.
