Lost Property – There are many items in the lost property cupboard and also many jackets and blazers on a rail in the Print Room. Please come along before Thursday 31 January 2019 to check if you think anything may be yours. Any items left after this date will be recycled!
S1 to S5 – Please ensure you get your challenge week choice forms back to the office asap (by the 28th Jan at the latest) to ensure you have the best chance of getting your first choices during the last week of summer term. Activities are filling up fast!
Dance Club– This is a reminder that all dance classes will be back on next week- lunch and after school. If any member of the dance club would like to purchase dance t-shirts or hoodies please collect an order form from the guidance base by Wednesday 23rd January. Thanks.
Hockey Tour Meeting: All players attending the hockey tour in September must attend a meeting at break time on Monday 21st in the small gym.

S2 SKI TRIP JANAURY 2019 – If you bought an individual photo and/or group photo you can collect them from Mr Cheyne’s room, G11, anytime this week.
Scottish Schools Indoor Athletics – Any pupil keen on competing in the Scottish Schools Athletics Indoor Championships should speak to Mr May by the end of this week. Please give your details including event(s) you would like to participate in plus date of birth and personal best(s).
S5/6 Assessments: S5/6 Assessments will be taking place in the Games Hall, Drama Studio, Meeting Rooms and F29 from 14th January until 24th January. Please show your respect by being especially quiet when you are near these areas. Many thanks

Opportunity for 15-17 year olds! – The Rotary Club of Currie Balerno has again agreed to sponsor two places at the 2019 RYLA adventure camps taking place in July this year. We will fully fund one place at the boys’ camp and one place at the girls’ camp. The camps will be run by Rotary District 1020 at the Abernethy Trust Centre at Ardeonaig by Loch Tay. The boys’ camp will run for 1 week from 13 July 2019 with the girls’ camp taking place the following week commencing 20 July 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity to boost your CV and gain valuable skills. If you are interested, please see Mr Ferguson asap.
SCOTTISH SPACE SCHOOL @ STRATHCLYDE 2019
The 2019 Scottish Space School @ Strathclyde residential summer school will be held at the University of Strathclyde from 9-14 June 2019 and applications are now being invited via the online application system.
Now in its 16th year at the University, the Scottish Space School continues to inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists and is aimed at S5 pupils in Scotland currently studying Maths and Science subjects at Higher level.
