Senior Pupil Team – It gives me great pleasure to share with you the outcome of the Senior Pupil team interviews today. The roles are as follows;

This was following their presentations to the S6 last week and also involved an interview with a pupil panel this morning as well. We look forward to working with them over the course of this year.

LAST FEW TICKETS for the School Show “ANNIE” are on sale every break time in the Drama Studio. The show dates are Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June at 7pm..Tickets cost £5 each. Hurry as nearly sold out!
S6 Bavelaw House Team Applications – All pupils who have applied for a position with Bavelaw’s House Team this year, please come to a meeting in Meeting Room 2 on Monday 18th June at 1.30.

Strasbourg Trip – All Strasbourg pupils please meet in Mr Ward’s room, G12 Tuesday lunchtime 19th June at 1.20 p.m. This is an important final meeting before we leave. All must attend.

Edinburgh College Pupils – If you attend Edinburgh College on a Tuesday/ Thursday afternoon, please be advised that the last session will be on Tuesday 19th June, and will resume on Tuesday 28th August.
Outwith college dates, you will be expected to be studying in school in the afternoons.

Carnegie Book Award Announcement – Monday the 18th is announcement day! We plan to share our predictions, and wait with suspense for the announcement of the winner. All welcome but really keen to see Carnegie Members! Please bring your lunch. We will be meeting in the LRC and may run over into period six. There will be snacks!

Biology Olypmiad Competition: Could the following pupils come and see Miss Muir (G31) as soon as possible. You have been randomly selected to represent Balerno in this International Biology Competition.
S1 &S2 Pupils – The Gadget Club – Come along every Tuesday to G12 to take part in a variety of different Maths related activities. Build mini cars, make robots, design rockets or whatever you can imagine! We will look at how Maths is a vital part of all these activities and have regular competitions with PRIZES!!!
